FlowNode 0.2.57 protects unsubscribe status during sync

The desktop update prevents an old local contact snapshot from restoring consent after someone unsubscribes. It works alongside the live queued-send eligibility safeguards.

AvailabilityPublic beta for Apple Silicon Mac and Windows x64, with Good Tools installers and a portable Windows ZIP. Mac is not notarized; Windows still needs a real-PC trial.

FlowNode 0.2.57 publishes the desktop contact-sync protection for unsubscribe and marketing exclusions. Updated Good Tools-branded installers and auto-update feeds are available for Apple Silicon Mac and Windows x64.

01

Keep opt-outs intact

An older local contact snapshot can no longer overwrite a current unsubscribed, bounced, or complained status with subscribed. Sync also preserves server marketing-suppression audit metadata while retaining legitimate contact edits.

The desktop change complements the separately deployed worker and database protections: eligibility is checked again before queued marketing sends and retries, and opt-outs suppress future steps. These safeguards cover Gmail and managed Amazon SES.

02

Leave campaigns and history alone

This release does not launch, restart, pause, migrate, or change the schedule or sending provider of a campaign. Contact records and sent history are preserved.

Keep a protected backup of your workspace. Emails already handed to a sending provider cannot be recalled by a later unsubscribe.

03

Checks and beta limits

Fourteen desktop regression tests and 23 worker helper tests passed for this release. The targeted backend rollout also passed 13 disposable PostgreSQL migration checks; no real campaign test sends were used.

The Mac beta is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Windows is not signed with a trusted publisher certificate and still needs testing on a Windows PC. The portable Windows ZIP requires no installer.
